Missing Climbers

I guess I am overly sentimental, but I particularly take it to heart when people of like mind and similar interests are in desperate situations. I watched and anguished over the searches at Mount Hood, Oregon. Now there are climbers missing in Tibet. From my high- country hiking in the Alps and the Rockies, and my rare attempts at bouldering, I recognize that "real" climbing is demanding and risky; You don't usually drag yourself out of the woods and drive to the hospital from mistakes in that sport.

I'm following the searches in China and here are links to a couple of sites carrying updates on Chris Boskoff and Charlie Fowler: Mountain Madness is Chris Boskoff's business and there is also a blog established.
